GarageShare is launching in Metro Atlanta first — and we're looking for 25 Founding Hosts to help us do it.
Only 25 spots. Founding Hosts keep 100% of what they earn — for the first 5 years.

GarageShare started with a simple problem. Fresh out of college and squeezed into a small Orlando apartment, I had the passion but nowhere to do the work. Whether I was repairing my car or building something from scratch, I had to make a two-hour drive back to my mom's garage — where all my tools lived.
Here's what I noticed on those drives: her garage sat empty almost every day I wasn't there. A full workshop, unused, while I burned four hours round-trip just to reach it.
That's the whole idea behind GarageShare. Somewhere near you, there's a garage like my mom's — equipped, sitting idle, waiting for someone who could actually use it. And somewhere near that garage, there's a maker like I was — plenty of passion, nowhere to put it to work.

No. Every request comes to you first, and you can decline any renter for any reason. Nothing is booked without your approval.
Renters are responsible for damage they or their approved guests cause, beyond normal wear and tear or pre-existing conditions. Document the space before and after each booking — if something happens, report it through the app and our team can help facilitate the claim.
Founding Hosts — our first 25 hosts in Metro Atlanta — pay 0% commission, for the first 5 years. Standard rates for hosts who join after the program closes are shown clearly before you list.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe and deposited to your bank account weekly.
Every host goes through identity and payment verification with a trusted third-party provider before their listing goes live. Verification confirms who someone is — it isn’t a guarantee of their skill, safety, or character, so it’s still worth messaging a renter directly with any questions before accepting a booking.
GarageShare is in the process of acquiring add-on insurance options. At this time, you’re responsible for confirming whether your own homeowner’s, renters, or business insurance covers hosting activity in your garage.
Yes, but you have to disclose the location and type of any surveillance devices before a renter books. Cameras aren’t allowed in bathrooms, changing areas, or anywhere someone would reasonably expect privacy, and audio recording is only permitted when it’s clearly disclosed and lawful in your area.
Yes. You control your availability calendar and can pause or take down your listing whenever you’d like.
Enter your state and desired booking dates, and every available listing that matches will show up. You can also filter by garage type and by the tools or equipment you need.
Sign up for a free account, find a space you like, and send a booking request. The host has up to 72 hours to respond — message them directly if you have questions first. Once accepted, payment is processed securely through Stripe.
You’re responsible for damage you or anyone you bring causes, beyond normal wear and tear. Document the space’s condition when you arrive, and be upfront with your host right away if anything happens — offering to repair or replace the item is always the right first step.
Only pre-approved, verified guests can join you, and they need to be added to your booking ahead of time. Children and pets aren’t permitted, and you’re responsible for anyone you bring.
Request an extension through the app before your booking ends. Staying past your confirmed time without an approved extension may result in an overstay charge of up to $100 per hour.
Cancellation terms are shown on each listing before you book and can vary by host, so always check the specific policy before you pay.
No — GarageShare doesn’t insure you, your vehicle, or your property while you’re using a garage. Make sure your own insurance covers the activity you’re planning before you book.
